Serious Eats - Haunted Dimensions Collaboration

Stella Parks (Bravetart) from the foodie site, Serious Eats, (and a fan of building my Phantom Manor cookie house), came to me to design an original gingerbread house template for her to bake and build for her Halloween and Xmas offerings. It looks great! Be sure to watch the video!

Macabre Masterpiece!

Cyndy and her neighbor, Remi, took the Phantom Manor Cookie House challenge and created this spectacular masterpiece! They started by enlarging my original templates by 30% and added amazing layers of detail. The licorice trees and gorgeous black ironwork piping are wonderful! The purple lights are actually bats, (but didn't photograph well). Thank for sharing, Cyndy and Remi !!! You can find my free templates at Gingerbread Dimensions

Mood Music

I little mood music for the season.

Welcome, foolish Rhino!

This was my "Horns and Heroes Project" entry this year. "Never eat ice cream in a Doombuggy!"  This sculpture, along with many other imaginative rhinos, was auctioned on September 22, at The Abbey in downtown Orlando. Proceeds went to rhino conservation efforts. Go to the "Horns and Heroes" Facebook page for more info.

He's Home!

The first new paper model kit to come out of the Haunted Dimensions Studios in Florida! "Haddonfield 78", in homage to John Carpenter's 1978 classic, "Halloween". Michael Myers is home, and his home can now be in YOUR home! The FREE 12mb PDF download is at http://www.haunteddimensions.raykeim.com/index670.html
AND PLEASE REMEMBER TO LEAVE A FEW BUCKS FOR A  DONATION!

The Night HE Came Home

Here is a sneak peek at my next paper model kit. It will be my take on the Myers house from the classic film, "Halloween".

Tokyo Haunts

Here is a beautiful video ride-through of Tokyo Disney's haunted mansion. It is a time capsule of the way the attractions looked before the various alterations took place in Disneyland and Disney World. The Japanese Ghost Host is wonderful to hear also!

Legendary Truth 2014

As the interactive digital media designer for Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Night’s online/in-park game, Legendary Truth, I am VERY proud of the latest incarnation of the game unveiled this year! Thanks to “Inside the Magic” for this wonderful synopsis and video! All of my favorite Field Operatives, Scientific Specialists and hosts make appearances.

Shadow Box Idea

Dimensioneer, James, had his honeymoon at the MK and he purchased some souvenir mansion pins. When he came home he built one of my crypt models and used it as part of a shadowbox display for his collection. Awesome idea!

It is a happy fact that many Disney Imagineers are also Dimensioneers who have been following my site for years. Recently I met (via FaceTime) Daniel Joseph, who is one of the effects designers behind the new "Memento Mori" shop at MK. Daniel told me he is a long-time fan of Haunted Dimensions and it was one of his inspirations to become an Imagineer! Here is a very interesting discussion with Daniel, as well as Imagineers Jim Clark and Brian Crosby about their design processes, and the new customized "Spirit Photography" changing portraits that we can now buy there! 10th Tee Campaign relaunched!

A few Dimensioneers missed their opportunity to get the 10th anniversary shirt. Well Teespring has reopened the campaign! If we can get 8 more orders, a new batch of shirts will be made!   http://teespring.com/haunted3d

Madame Leota Lives!

Artist, Nora See, created this spectacular Madame Leota costume and make up! This is one of the most brilliant and original mansion themed costumes I've seen in a while. Truly amazing and beautifully executed! Her web site is http://www.norasee.com.
